The Sunrise and Noon Rotary Clubs combined to work on a
shelter for the Occupational
Development Center (ODC) in Bemidji. The 600 square-foot building will provide protection
from the harsh winter weather while individuals wait for transportation. The shelter
will also be used for a sitting area out of the sun during the summer.
This project
was possible thanks to a donation from the Nielson Foundation for the cost of the
building materials. The Sunrise and Noon Rotary Clubs were asked to construct this
building. Thanks to some dedicated Rotarians from both clubs, this project was
completed in three workdays.
